Alchemy Cards, 2017
A card game created to enhance the creative process.
Cards are laid out upside down on the floor of a large room and turned over by the participants one by one until a work has been created or enhanced. The cards can also be connected like dominoes.
Red cards are the aspects of the experience of the work, the participants, materials used, and basic actions in the game.
Light yellow cards are the elements of the mediums including aspects of the visual, music, and language.
Blue and yellow cards are various processes.
A represents the basic objectives and parts of the game.
B represents musical elements.
C represents visual elements.
D represents language elements.
E represents the participants, venue, instruments, and materials.
F represents the aspects of the experience of the work.
G represents basic actions and time-based processes.
H represents logical and organizational processes.
I represents basic editing and modification that are objective.
J represents changes that are subjective.
K represents physical or metaphysical processes.
L represents chemical or alchemical processes.
